Szklarska Poręba is a popular Polish winter resort in the Karkonosze Mountains with a wide range of downhill and cross-country skiing.

The main winter resort, Ski Arena Szrenica, is located on the slopes of Szrenica (1,362 m) and offers up to ~12 km of groomed slopes of all difficulty levels with modern lifts and a chairlift.

The ski area has 8 lifts, night skiing, artificial snowmaking, and trails for beginners and advanced skiers.

The surrounding area also offers smaller ski areas such as Pietkiewiczówka, Nartolandia, and Czarny Kamień, which are close to the city center.
